About two days ago, I noticed what I thought was a root growing from the base of my Basjoo straight out onto the soil so I covered it with a little bit of potting mix. Today I was watering, and I noticed that it has now curved upward, and has maybe a hint of green. Is this a pup, should I cover it up a little since it and the mother plants connection was showing on top of the soil? My Basjoo was already trying to form one pup that looked like a pup on the surface, but this one looked like a root at first.
