That's happened to me before too. Get a rooting hormone solution and soak it for a half an hour, then leave it out to dry in a cool spot for a day. Then, place it in a well-draining soil mix and cut off any leaves that die. You're lucky, it looks like it still has a decent chunk of corm on it. If the meristem isn't damaged, it has a chance of surviving.
