I have no experience when it comes to growing bananas or any type of fruit for that matter I am getting two banana plants from a neighbor who is moving. I am told they are pretty young, but I am not sure if my neighbor knows much about bananas haha. My neighbor says that they are "Musa Truly Tiny Banana" and a "Musa Gran Nain Banana". I live in zone 8b and I really don't know where to start. Ideally I would like to start off these bananas in a container, but I don't know if that is an option. I am clueless as to what type of soil or fertilizers that these plants need. I need help! I figured this would be a great place to ask for advice Thanks for your time, and I would appreciate any advice you have.
