Hi Vicky,

I hope, that all these people, who are so worried about over-watering, read your very interesting
contribution. While bananas in their natural habitat not regularly get their feet bathed in standing
water, unless they grow next to rice fields, they do live in humid and often quite soggy
environments.

Thank you for posting this. I will save the URL of this for future reference, because concerns
about over-watering are cropping up here in a never ending stream, even fed by people, who are
very knowledgeable about bananas.

I would not submerge a bare corm in water, and I doubt, that you do that, but once a head of
leaves is established, there is no longer any concern.

BTW, I love your water garden.
