Are you sure??? I bought one labeled Blue Java from Lowes last year. The label clearly stated "La Verne" nursery.
I am no expert at all and consider myself still a banana newbie who has spend lots of hours on here and on the www to learn about "Musa" but compared side by side the BJ from Jon and the BJ from "La Verne" show significant differences. Actually the La Verne one has more red in its p-stem and mid-ribs than I have blush in my make-up kit.....
