Welcome to the forum Sajan,

I planted a Ensete Ventricosum in the shade at the back of the house where it gets full indirect light from the southern sky (southern hemisphere). This will be a bit different for you as in Sth India the sun will travel through the year to both sides of a house, so maybe find a spot that is shaded in the hottest part of the year with bright indirect sun.
