Agreed with the last post. It looks much too dry to me. I've got A. arguta and even in the wettest place in cont. US, our summers tend to be dry (nearly all rain is concentrated in spring, fall, winter) and so I still have to keep good tabs on mine.

Btw interesting way of keeping it up. Always make sure the trees and especially the wire can handle them in the future, some kiwis like A. arguta are VERY productive and VERY heavy in fruit.
