I have no idea how Florida Hill Nursery knew I wanted a Namwah when I ordered a Tall Super plantain, but that's what makes them special.
This t/c was planted in the middle of June, so planting to bloom was about 8 1/2 months.
Nick, does the male bud reach ground level with a 7' Dwarf, and how long does it take for the bud to open ?
The tip of the bud is 5' 4" above the ground and no fruit showing yet.

I'm envious of your quick growth. The male bud, in my experience, does not reach ground level. The bud should start to open shortly once it is fully extended. If the tip of the bud is 5'4" above ground with no fruit showing, I'm pretty sure you have a dwarf because the tall ones I couldn't even touch when they fruited.
