Nicolas Naranja

Now that I look back at pictures I'm not so sure. My dwarf Nam Wahs looked to be in the 7-8' range. The tall ones, I just remember being a lot taller. I figure the bed of my truck is probably 3' off the ground and I am 6' tall. So maybe that plant is 10-11' tall. But then again I have been on other farms where I couldn't reach the male flower with my arms up. In Mayaguez, the Pisang Awak, which is basically a tall nam wah, was 4.5m tall. I don't know now. That picture is 3 years old, I may have cut the pseudostem to bend it down.
