Default Cleaning M. velutina seeds?

Anyone have any tricks to clean the velutina seeds from the fruit. Right now I have a slimy mess that feels like a seriously over ripe banana (yes, I know that is what they are.) The little nanas look like cocoons and they are getting moldy because it rained the day the skins split and they got drenched. Is there anything I can soak them in like vinegar maybe that would clean off the messy part without harming the seeds themselves.

Thank you.
