Default Musa sikkimensis Red Tiger - the red color vanished

Last spring I bought a Musa sikkimensis Red Tiger. It had a size of about 80 cm and three leaves.
The leaves had some red parts on them, but to be honest - not as much red as I would have thought.

On what does the red in the leaves depend? Is the color changing depending on the sun?
The summer here in Germany was rainy, but of course there was sunshine.
Could it be that the sun wasn't enough?

I'm not posting a pic because the plant is already in the cellar and is now green all over. That's why I thought that the color depends on the sunshine.

Thanks for clarifying this to me
