I had to cut the pot off if you look close on the top pic it grew a small shoot out of the hole so i couldnt pull it off. It actually had growth coming out of 3 of the 4 holes...lol I wish i had a greenhouse to put it in it has been outside for the last 2 winters with no problems yet. Hope to plant it in the ground next year just havent thought of a good spot yet. Do you grow the phyllostachys nigra too? I know you have a few bamboos and was wandering how hardy it was.
