Default Re: How To Keep My Ae Ae Banana Alive During Winter?

expensive starter plant !!

you will be digging it up next winter or building a temp gh, as this is close to a 14' fruiter and macon is zone 8-?.

but in short you would treat it as you would any other banana plant..

skies the limit, this is a multi million dollar industry.

can it survive in your house , most likely with proper care.

do you need a light, south facing window should do the trick. i've kept some smaller plants in southern kitchen window under fluorescent light.

i would keep the plant on dry side, if you have a corm. if root system still on the dry side. if i can blow dirt then i'll add a little during winter.

my plants grow and fruit in 40ish thru winter and with high humidity, ranging from 50%-80%..
