Wow that is beautiful! Ok, I live in NE Ohio right on the 5a/5b border. I would absolutely love to do this around my pool. All I have right now are Bajoos which are doing great. Questions for you:
Aside from the basjoo, are all of those plants cold weather variety or do you have to overwinter them inside?
How old are all of those?
Do you cut your bananas to the ground and mulch with 6" or do you leave a 2-3 foot pseudo stem and protect some other way?
Do you have any experience with cold weather palms in Ohio?
Do you fertilize much?
