The reddish one I just got resembles P. miniata, P. incarnata x miniata, or P. vitifolia more than a P. Piresii, with the color leaning more to the P. miniata, but a few petals fold back like the P. vitifolia so I'm not sure about what it really is.
Tks for that link. Lots of banana pictures, but not much info on the varieties they were. The Koa'e (Ae Ae) and Iholena plants were pretty obvious, but the others could be anything.
