I believe that is one of the parents, but it was marked as P. Piresii, and I'm not experienced enough to know one from another. I know they look similar, but that's about all I know. If a cross is made isn't there some variation in the progeny so that some resemble one parent while some resemble the other, and some have characteristics of both? In orchids that is how it works; some are almost identical to one parent or the other, and the majority have a mixture of both parents to varying degrees.
