Hi Deesh,

First off, great banana pictures; thanks for posting! That fruit of that banana, being so ridged and angular, looks like the plant is an Orinoco although some more experienced growers on here can confirm this. Good dual purpose variety.

To get rid of already fruited stems you can just cut them off a few inches above the ground, and use the chopped up stem and leaves for mulch or in compost or some such.
