Yes you can grow it indoors. You will need a sunny window,a water tray(so water doesn't ruin your carpet),1/2 gallon, 5 gallon,10 gallon, and a 15 gallon pot. Soak the seeds for 24hours in water (you can do this multiple times.) After doing that place seeds an inch deep in a cup filled with 4inches of soil with a hole hole cut in the bottom for drainage. ( A clear cup is the best so you can see root development.) place the the cup on a warm surface or heat mat and keep in a warm and sunny room. Give it plenty of moisture but do not flood it. It might take a month or more to germinate so be patient. After the roots out grow the cup put in 1/2gallon container then give it a some shade. Water when the soil starts to dry so the roots don't rot. As it grows give it more sun and start fertilizing monthly. As the roots outgrow the pot sizes (in order on the second line) simply move to next pot size. If the sunny window is not enough buy a plant grow light (one that actually says it grows plants on packaging.) And enjoy your beautiful banana tree! When flowering give it some bloom booster. Velutina bananas are edible just spit out the seeds!
