I hadn't been on here for a while. but those sure are some pretty banana plants. I wish we could keep ours in good shape like that all winter without bringing them in. All of my basjoo even are already froze and thawed enough times that they are lying flat on the ground.
I have gotten out and sprayed mine with the water hose several times when I didn't cover them and it frosted. It really helps a lot. But you have to dress warm.
Glad to hear they made it though the winter safe though.
