Gosh, thanks Mitchel! 
That particular shot was taken with my DSLR camera, using the 70-300 mm zoom lens. Most of last night's pics were taken with the DSLR camera although a couple were shot with my little canon digital camera.
Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is "banding"...and is it a good thing?!
