complaining about the weather!!!!
This has been very challenging here in Indiana this year.
First we had rain every day so that we couldn't plant tomatoes until June 10th. If we did get a rare day when it wasn't raining, we were slammed with customers so that we couldn't even think about planting.
Then we had rain every other day so that the plants got to tall before we could get them tied up. Then we had rain every three days so that you couldn't till the garden and get the weeds out. Then the rain completely quit and we've had exactly .10 inch of rain since June 20th.
Now it's been 90 degrees every day, and it's supposed to be 97 in a couple of days. No sign of rain in the forecast.
I'm watering approx 3 hours a day, and that doesn't count the time that the drip irrigation is going on our 1/2 acre of veggies and the hosta and pumpkin areas that are on drip.
I'm sorry to sound negative, but I think I'm ready for this season to be over.
