That's a good formula for ornamental bananas; and also for citrus, avocados, guavas, and other subtropical fruits. Buying it in "singles" might be economical for one plant. Beyond that, look for fertilizers in with the same N-P-K profile of High-Low-Medium but with a better $/lb cost.
