Hi Ivan,

I have to give it to you, you sure know your bamboo roots.
I have been back to Vietnam this winter and learned more about these carvings and it is all explained in these two
pictures (sorry about the reflections:




This one gives you an overall view of the sign, which caught my attention.





And here I have enlarged the written text, which explains how this bamboo root art came about.
