Yea I got one in march of 2010 heres a pic.
And this was it in oct.
where are you located? usually if you wait a bit after 2 or 3 new leaves the red spots will show.
I still to this day have no idea what mine really is . I would say dc tho. I hopw your is too I think they look nicer when big.
