I can't recall if it was the flavor or the growth habit of the ruffles that I didn't like, but it was something. Too funny that you grow the herbs for looks instead of flavor...just like my mom.


I have seeds for a type of basil called "osmin dark red" and it's quite pretty also. Maybe I'll start some in a pot to show you.


Yes, herbs have many medicinal qualities and years ago when there were no drug companies, people turned to herbs to heal them. They say herbs should be eaten in moderation...except basil of course!


JaNan, that Mint is just gorgeous. The smell must have been incredible. I am stunned that you will get some Chocolate Mint. How cool it will be to grow that. I can just imagine how delicious it'll be. Mmmmmmmm.
