The northeast has been getting crushed with below average temperatures since December, and it doesn't look like there's any end to it. I've put leaf bags around both my basjoos and insulated them well, but I think they are set back pretty badly, but hopefully make it through the winter.

All of the exposed bamboos look fried too as it got to -9F with many subzero nights. It really doesn't look like there's an end to this. I think that map is pretty deceiving as it should be dark blue over NY as it should drop into the single digits tonight.
