How many are you planting at a time? You need at least 50 to get any kind of return.Banana seeds have about 5% germination rate, so if you plant 10 that's half a seed, which means you'd be lucky.

It doesn't really matter who you buy them from it's the collectors who don't treat the seeds with as much love as they need, also the fruit are picked when they haven't properly ripened.

This is what used to frustrate me, but then I started planting lots of seeds and they started to come up.
