Default Tissue culture workshop Kankakee IL. Sept. 18th

If you are interesting in learning how to tissue culture plants, including bananas, there will be a hands-on workshop at the Kankakee Community College on Sept. 18th.

The workshop will be hosted by Dr. Carol Stiff and Dr. Scott Stewart, (orchid specialist). I will be bringing 10 Musa Basjoo banana plants, (about 18 inches tall), and giving them to the first 10 people who want them and sign up for the workshop. You will be able to put the banana plants into tissue culture and take them home! Or, bring your own banana plants and we’ll help you put those in tissue culture. Details can be found on Dr. Carol Stiff’s web site @ Home Tissue Culture Group - www.hometissueculture.org
