Ha ha.... finally in writing that you took my ( or anyones) advice !!!!!( note to self..... play lottery today)

Do you water your potted plants by hand? I use larger pots and I think that's likely a big key. During the highest heat I water once a day but nothings ever been allowed to dry too much. I fill the pots with a hose and then come back and do it again when I do water. The plants in the ground have cheap landscape edging in rings around each banana and I drop the hose and walk away.... sometimes for quite a while since this summers been hot and dry.
