This is good to know. My Dwarf Orinoco has sure got beatten up by the wind since I planted it out in late May. I staked it, and good thing too, because I think it might have broken if I hadn't. The open prairie is not the best place for these types of plants! Maybe I'll try a Dwarf Cavendish and an Ensete Maurelii next year. Good to know that Musa basjoo wouldn't fare too well. I'd like to try one anyway, though.
