Default Dwarf Orinoco Blooming

I dug this DO out of the ground last fall and overwintered in the house but kept in the pot hoping for a bloom this summer, which I got. The plant is small as I had chopped it back to bring inside and then it was choking so badly by spring that I started pulling outer leaves back and one of the pups is now as tall as the main plant. My thinking was that if I could get fruit I could carry it into the house at the end of summer to let it hopefully ripen.

I'm wondering if I should take the pups off ... or does it matter?
