It seems like when seed is really fresh you can get germination in 2-3 weeks for some species.
I've had Ensete ventricosum & Ensete glaucum germinate in just under 2 weeks.
It seems to be more of a matter of getting ANY to germinate then getting them to germinate fast for some. I suggest buying 100 seeds, and having alot of paitence.
Easier seeds- balbisiana, veluntina, E.ventricosum, E.glaucum, E.superbum(indian form), Musa cheesmanii/nagesium, and maybe a few more.
