That stream is a blessing for growing banana plants.

Growing up, I spent the weekends at my father's home which was on a lake (my moms home around the corner was on a lake too, but we had a HOA and were not allowed to plant on the lake's edge). We had a mat of what were probably orinocos there at my dad's home. They were planted at the lake's edge. The mat was easily ten by ten feet around. We had ducks that would next inside the fallen leaves and p-stems. The mat grew and bloomed profusely with zero and I mean zero nurturing by anyone. The ducks would jump/fly up to chew off the flowers from the tips of the bananas. What memories!

Anyway, congrats on that property, it's perfect for serious banana growing.
