I too had a bad experience with Ted. The bananas he sent were teeny tiny and very thin. I was told later by members here that they were probably tissue-cultured and greenhoused. So naturally, they collapsed when planted out in full sun. Here is my thread from last year:
New bananas keeled over Ted was actually really rude, saying that my soil was the problem.
I've ordered from several members here with excellent results so they are the only people I will buy from now.
