Default Re: Growing Container Bananas in East Tennessee

It might just be going through a transition phase. In my experience, it's typical for bananas to grow funny (or not much at all) when you significantly change their growing conditions by moving them indoors or outdoors. It's just a little bit of shock to the plant, I'm sure. I mean, we're used to breathing about 21% oxygen in the air...if we suddenly are breathing 100% oxygen, it makes you feel kinda funny. Same thing, just with plants and involving light/heat/humidity variations.

I would just leave em out there and I'm sure they'll adapt in a few weeks and be growing like crazy in no time at all!
