Hi All,
Thanks for all the great info on successfully growing bananas in cold climates.
I have been growing what is supposed to be a dwarf orinoco for the past two years. I recently took it out of storage and planted it in ground. I am hoping it will fruit this year. I may be in for a dissapointment though because the pseudostem height is 10ft and I have read that they bloom at 8ft.

Has anyone else experienced a D.O. growing this tall?
