Default Re: basjoo with white streaked leaves

Sandy , the variegated Basjoo is a rare plant , I know of about four of them. Andrew in Holland found one in a group of tissue culture plants , so this is how it happens most often. It's like one out of thousands of tissue culture Basjoo show up like the one you have or Mark has. They tend to pup solid green with the odd pup like the parent plant.

p.s. I was looking at a bunch of Basjoo yesterday at a local nursery, I was looking to see if in the whole group there was a white stripped one , no luck this time.

p.p.s All Marks variegated bananas are virused he just won't accept it ;-)
