Found the answer in the CRFG fruit facts...Bananas like an acid soil, pH 5.5 to 6.5. There you go! I've ordered pH test strips and the rest should be easy, especially since I'm also growing blueberries


Don't know if this is true, the acid soil, this goes certainly not for all bananas
and I know of a member who has bad experiences growing bananas in an acid
soil.
