In my part of the U.S. Basjoo does poorly. Musa itinerans itinerans grows well in the fall, winter, and spring, in the partial shade.



This M. i. itinerans, has been on this site four months and before that in a pot since it was a seedling. I am keeping the soil well drained so root rot has not been a problem.
