I'll help you with an un-scientific experiment to see if your freezeproof is worth it or not. All my banana plants fried the last 2 nights, and are unprotected aside from the canopy of drooping leaves.

We had a nice soaking rain so I won't be watering thru the night.

My most cold sensitive are in an enclosure with Christmas lights, but are still fried, being cold sensitive.

It's supposed to get to 26 degrees tonight.

I went out 1/2 hour ago and there is already frost built up.
