Thanks to all! Excuse me if my English isn't so good as your - i haven't had much practice! But i understand very well.
Sigulda is town where my relatives have private house with small garden, but i live in capital of Latvia - Riga. I think that in Canada are warmer or hotter summers. In Sigulda even +75 (F) are rare and nights are often below +50 (F). Last two summers were so cold that even
Yucca guatemalensis didn't grow at least one new leaf, just as bamboo
Phyllostachys bissetii. Next summer i will grow my bananas (some sort of
dwarf form) in greenhouse.
