misunderstood what i was saying.. most the time when you see the red spotting on juvenile pups its a common cavandish variety(not always). the spots become less noticeable as the plant matures. my dwarf cav pups and gran nain pups have spots..my adults have little or no spots.

the seller was trying to tell me to wait it out and see what happens(he told everyone the same thing). i sent him a pic that looked like a high color mini (deep red marking). thats when he sent two pups to make up for his mistake.

i was stating that the new pups the seller sent didnt have spotting to begin with...which is good in my case. i dont want to raise any new cavandish varieties. also the only cavandish variety he was offering at the time was double mahoi.i called it double mahoi when i saw the red spots for that reason. the first plant i recieved now looks like my two gran nains with its red spots and p stem. i wonder who is his supplier???
